Coffee Talk Is Back in Session!

Sundays, 9:45-11 AM (beginning September 11)

Krumpe Activity Center

Join us to learn about and discuss Catholic teaching on a

variety of important topics. This weekly ministry has proven beneficial to many people through explanation and

reinforcement of the teachings of our Church using

Holy Scripture, the Catechism, and additional Church

documents, like those from Vatican II.

Everyone is invited to participate in this gathering,

strengthening our faith and building our knowledge of the

teaching of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church.

Celebrate Life!

Special Collection taken on October 1/2,

PLUS our annual Baby Jesus Shower (which ends October 9)!

Respect Life Sunday takes place on Oct. 2 and there will be a

special collection sponsored by the Archdiocese. Please be as generous as you can.

For our annual Baby Jesus Shower, a playpen is set up near the Respect Life bulletin board in the vesbule. Again, this year,

we can welcome Respect Life Sunday with generous hearts by

filling up the playpen with supplies suggested by Terri Huwel, Director of Old St. Mary’s Pregnancy Center in Over-the-Rhine.

See the bulletin for the list of items to donate.

NOTE: Donations of gift cards, cash, or checks should be brought

to the parish office, not left in the playpen.

May Our Lord continue to bless you for your great Corporal

Work of Mercy!

Hunger Sunday

October 1 & 2

Our donated items will benefit Mt. Healthy Food Pantry.

They are always short on personal care items like toothpaste, shampoo, or dish/hand soap, so please consider donating

those items. As always, cash donations and/or non-perishable

food items are also appreciated. Place your items in the Hunger Sunday boxes that you'll see in the church lobby.

family pets. The blessing will be in the circle in front of the church

entrance (or in the vestibule in the event of rain). All creatures

great and small are welcome! (On leashes or in cages, please.)

Civilize It... And Pray the Rosary!

This non-partisan movement is a call for all of us to help change

the tone, follow our faith, and quiet the quarrels in our

day-to-day lives. It’s not about winning the debate. It is about

witnessing the love that is at the heart of our faith.

Hold firm, fast, pray, and insist upon what belongs to you by

right - our first, most cherished liberty: our freedom to

practice our religion.

Join us for our 7 PM Monday night rosary and Divine Mercy chaplet. During October, we will be praying for our country and for the upcoming election, that everyone will remain civilized and vote with conscience of faith. All are welcome, including children!

Special Seminary Video

A graduate student at Northern Kentucky University, Ann Herbert,

produced this very fine video history of

Mount St. Mary’s Seminary of the West.

It is slightly over an hour long and a delightful look at this great jewel of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.

Enjoy!

(Once you click on the image above, you'll be able to click the icon in the lower right corner of the video to make the image as large as your screen allows.)

Remembering Your Loved One

Consider having the red sanctuary candle by the

tabernacle lit "in honor of" or "in memory of" your loved

one. The suggested donation would be $5, and the candle

would burn for one week. Your loved one would be

mentioned in the bulletin and during the weekend

intentions. If you are interested, contact Joanne at the

parish office (522.3680).

Headed the Right Way?

If you've been away from Christ and/or His Church

and are ready to turn your feet

and your life back to Him,

we would love to help you

take those important steps!
