PSR Fosters Faith

Through our Parish School of Religion (PSR), our catechists (teachers) support parents in their efforts to make the Catholic faith a consistent element in the lives of children and families.

PSR classes provide faith formation and sacramental preparation for students in pre-school through 8th grade who attend public schools. Classes meet 9:45 - 11 AM on Sundays from September through April.

To sign your child up, please complete and return these forms and your fee payment to the parish office:

Archbishop Schnurr Coming to Barts

Sunday, August 28 for the 11:15 AM Mass

Let's fill the church on August 28 when Archbishop Schnurr

comes to celebrate Mass with us! All are welcome to attend

this Mass to give thanks for the support of this year's

Catholic Ministries Appeal for the six regional ministries

funded by that collection.

May God bless those who contributed their prayers, talent,

and/or financial support to these key ministries.

Civilize It

This non-partisan movement is a call for all of us to help change

the tone, follow our faith, and quiet the quarrels in our

day-to-day lives. It’s not about winning the debate. It is about

witnessing the love that is at the heart of our faith.

Hold firm, fast, pray, and insist upon what belongs to you by

right - our first, most cherished liberty: our freedom to

practice our religion.

Jubilee Year of Mercy

December 8, 2015 through November 20, 2016

"We need constantly to contemplate the mystery of mercy.

It is a wellspring of joy, serenity, and peace.

Our salvation depends on it...

At times we are called to gaze even more attentively on mercy

so that we may become a more effective sign of the Father's

action in our lives."

~ Pope Francis, in the Bull of Indiction

for the Year of Mercy

Remembering Your Loved One

Consider having the red sanctuary candle by the

tabernacle lit "in honor of" or "in memory of" your loved

one. The suggested donation would be $5, and the candle

would burn for one week. Your loved one would be

mentioned in the bulletin and during the weekend

intentions. If you are interested, contact Joanne at the

parish office (522.3680).

Headed the Right Way?

If you've been away from Christ and/or His Church

and are ready to turn your feet

and your life back to Him,

we would love to help you

take those important steps!

For those who are new to Catholicism...
