Want to See That Again?

Everyone at Mass this past weekend had a chance to see at least some of the of video that presents the potential plans for the church entry and narthex. The Committee is looking forward to hearing from you, so be sure to offer your feedback.

Steps along the Lenten Journey

Not sure what Lent is all about or why we do some of the things we do during this time? Use these links and opportunities to learn more...

Ash Wednesday (Mar 1) and Good Friday (Apr 14) are days of abstinence from meat and also days of fast (limited to a single full meal). The other Fridays of Lent are days of abstinence from meat. Abstinence is binding on Catholics age 14+. The discipline of fasting is binding on Catholics ages 18-58.

As you make your way from Ash Wednesday to Easter Sunday, be sure to take advantage of the many opportunities in our Pastoral Region to use this season as a time of transformation...

Diaper Drive Underway!

March 1 thru April 9

Please place your diaper donations in the purple crate below the Respect Life bulletin board in the narthex (lobby). All donations will be delivered to Old St. Mary's Pregnancy Center in Over-the-Rhine during Holy Week. All sizes of diapers are welcome! If you prefer to make a monetary donation, please make your check payable to Old St. Mary's Pregnancy Center and drop it off at St. Bart's parish office. Thank you for supporting life!

Bring on the Fish!

St. Bart's will be hosting the Fish Fry on March 24 & 31 and April 7.

Special Seminary Video

A graduate student at Northern Kentucky University, Ann Herbert,

produced this very fine video history of

Mount St. Mary’s Seminary of the West.

It is slightly over an hour long and a delightful look at this great jewel of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.

Enjoy!

Remembering Your Loved One

Consider having the red sanctuary candle by the

tabernacle lit "in honor of" or "in memory of" your loved

one. The suggested donation would be $5, and the candle

would burn for one week. Your loved one would be

mentioned in the bulletin and during the weekend

intentions. If you are interested, contact Joanne at the

parish office (522.3680).

Headed the Right Way?

If you've been away from Christ and/or His Church

and are ready to turn your feet

and your life back to Him,

we would love to help you

take those important steps!
